Birky, Bill: Evolution and genetics. Evolution of sex. Nature of species and mechanisms of speciation. Distribution and dispersal of microscopic organisms. Field, laboratory, and theoretical work on asexual and sexual organisms and genomes.
Brilliant, Murray: Genetic and molecular analyses of mouse and human mutations affecting pigmentation and development.
Chandler, Vicki: Our research investigates mechanisms of gene silencing in plants. We use functional genomics and forward and reverse genetics to study paramutation, transposable elements, transgene silencing, and chromatin control of gene expression.
Chen, Qin: Molecular mechanisms of oxidative injury and adaptation; stress signal transduction pathways; genomics and proteomics of stress response; cytoprotective agents
Dieckmann, Carol: My laboratory works on two projects: 1) Regulation of mitochondrial gene expression in yeast, 2) Placement and assembly of the eyespot in the green alga Chlamydomonas.
Doetschman, Tom: TGFbeta and FGF2 Gene Function in Mouse Models of Human Disease
