Archer, Steven: My research has concentrated on interactions between grasses and woody plants in relation to soils, climate and disturbance. Field and laboratory experiments on the population biology of grasses and shrub growth forms are emphasized in the context of landscape ecology, succession and historical land–use practices.
Baro, Mamadou: Participatory development, Household Livelihood Security, Applied Anthropology, Land Tenure, Gender and International Development with special focus on Africa and the Caribbean, and Research Methodology.
Bechtel, Robert: My profession is Environmental Psychology, which means I study attitudes, beliefs and behaviors as they relate to the enviornment as well as environmental influences on the entire range of human behavior.
Bonine, Michael: Human geography with special interests in the Middle East and issues related to arid lands
Bradley, Michael: water resources administration with emphasis on water policy, resources management, and water rights
Coates, Wayne: Resarch and development of agricultural equipment for new and conventional crops.
Colby, Bonnie: Dr. Colby's research is in natural resource and environmental economics and in public policy. Some of her current projects involve nonmarket valuation of natural amenities, analyzing transactions costs generated by regulatory policies, evaluating the reallocation of water resources among economic sectors, economic tools to resolve environmental conflicts, and identifying strategies to promote efficient allocation of risk associated with variability in water supply and water quality.
Comrie, Andrew: Expertise includes synoptic climatology, urban and regional air pollution, climate variability and change, climate and health, multivariate statistical climate analysis, and computerized map-pattern recognition and classification techniques.
