Billington, Stephen: Molecular genetics and pathogenesis of the pathogenic bacteria, Arcanobacterium pyogenes, Campylobacter jejuni and Clostridium perfringens.
Collins, James: Herpesvirus infections of cattle and bison; ecology and biology of disease-causing viruses of livestock; surveillance and diagnosis of virus disease.
Cotty, Peter: Biology, physiology, and management of agriculturally important fungi. Our lab is dedicated to the study of aflatoxin cantamination and aflatoxin producing-fungi with emphasis on improved methods for reducing the incidence of aflatoxins within foods, feeds, and the environment.
Fane, Bentley: The broad objective of our research program is to elucidate the mechanisms involved in scaffolding-mediated and genome-mediate morphogenesis within the Microviridae system. In addition, we are also beginning to examine the biology of viruses which infect obligate intracellular parasitic bacteria.
Goodrum, Felicia: Mechanisms of control in human cytomegalovirus (CMV) latency
Joens, Lynn: Pathogenesis and immunology of porcine intestinal diseases
Jost, Helen: Mechanisms of host colonization and pathogenesis of Gram positive bacteria, especially Arcanobacterium spp.
Lightner, Donald: My research interests center on infectious diseases of farmed aquatic species, especially the viral diseases of the penaeid shrimp, and on the development of classical and molecular methods for their diagnosis.
